Is this allowed by Riot?
Yes. Verdict is built on the official Riot Games API as a registered developer product and follows Riot's developer policies; our production application is currently under review. Verdict is an independent tool — it isn't endorsed by Riot Games.
Is this cheating?
No. Verdict reads and explains — it never plays. It works from the same public data Riot's own client already shows you, and it never automates anything, touches the game, or changes what happens in it. You play; it reviews.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. There will always be a free tier. Paid tiers, when they exist, only unlock deeper analysis — the core verdicts stay free.
Do I give you my League password?
Never. Verdict has no login of its own and never asks for your Riot password — you point it at your Riot ID, the same name anyone in your games can already see. Your Riot login never touches Verdict.
What exactly does it read?
Your own match history, ranked standing, and champion mastery through Riot's API — and, while you're in one, the live game's state. The same record the game itself keeps. The full inventory is in the privacy policy, in plain language.
Do you sell my data?
No. Verdict doesn't sell, rent, or trade your data, run ads, or track you around the web. It's shared only with the infrastructure providers named in the privacy policy, strictly to make the app work. Your data has one job here: coaching you.
What about the other players in my games?
A League game has ten players, so the record of your games necessarily includes the other nine players' in-game data — their champions, in-game stats, and Riot ID display names, exactly as Riot returns them. Verdict uses this to make sense of your matches, and Scout reads a player's public match record on demand — the same public data every stats site serves. In every case it's public in-game data only: we never contact other players, and never try to identify anyone who isn't already identifiable from the game itself.
How do I delete my data?
Email privacy@verdictlol.com and ask. We remove your stored match data, the rows we derived from it, and the cached analysis; the full detail is in the privacy policy.
What platforms, and when?
Verdict is a Windows desktop app — that's the first and only platform for now. There's no download today; the download page is where the build will land, and the waitlist is one email the day it's ready.
Which games does it read?
Your ranked games — Solo/Duo and Flex. That's the record Verdict analyzes, because it's where the stakes and the patterns are consistent enough to draw honest conclusions from.
How is this different from other stats sites?
They hand you numbers and the meta's averages. Verdict reads your own games and tells you what's actually costing you — tested like-for-like against your own most similar games. And when the data can't prove something, it says so instead of guessing. See the method for exactly how it decides what's true.
What's a “verdict”? What are “Moments”?
A verdict is the per-game, plain-language ruling on the game you just played — what happened and why. Moments are the timeline of the swings that decided that game.
